🥛 1–2 tablespoons milk (optional, for spreading consistency)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, then mix in mashed bananas and vanilla.

Whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl.

Add dry ingredients to the banana mixture alternately with buttermilk or sour cream. Mix until just combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Cool completely before frosting.
For the Frosting:

Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until creamy. Add a splash of milk if needed for spreading.
