Ingredients
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
For the Lemon Butter Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
3 garlic cloves, minced
Juice of 2 lemons
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp honey
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Season chicken breasts with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Make the Sauce:
4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, Italian seasoning, and honey.
Bake the Chicken:
5. Place seared chicken in a baking dish and pour lemon butter sauce over the top.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F).
Serve:
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
8. Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a side salad.
