Baked Nectarines with Cinnamon Honey Sauce: A Perfect Dessert Recipe

  • 4 ripe nectarines (halved and pitted)

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, Greek yogurt, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

  • Arrange Nectarines:
    Place the halved nectarines cut-side up in the baking dish.

  • Make the Sauce:
    In a small bowl, whisk together honey, melted butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

  • Drizzle Sauce:
    Spoon the cinnamon honey mixture evenly over each nectarine half.

  • Bake:
    Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the nectarines are tender and slightly caramelized.

 

  • Serve:
    Serve warm with your choice of toppings like Greek yogurt, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, or a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
