Baked Salmon with Avocado and Feta: A Healthy and Delicious Recipe

  • 2 salmon fillets

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • 1 ripe avocado (diced)

  • ¼ cup feta cheese (crumbled)

  • 2 tbsp red onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 tbsp fresh cilantro or parsley (chopped)

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Season the Salmon:

    • Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet.

    • Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.

    • Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and oregano.

  • Bake the Salmon:

    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  • Prepare the Avocado Topping:

    • In a bowl, mix diced avocado, feta, red onion, cilantro (or parsley), and red pepper flakes (if using).

 

  • Assemble & Serve:

    • Spoon the avocado-feta mixture over the baked salmon.

    • Serve immediately with extra lemon wedges.
