Ingredients
1 lb (450g) chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Bang Bang Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust for spice preference)
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon lime juice
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Make the Bang Bang Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice.
Set aside.
Assemble the Skewers:
Thread marinated chicken pieces onto skewers.
Cook the Chicken:
Grill Method: Preheat grill to medium-high heat and cook skewers for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
Oven Method: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway.
Air Fryer Method: Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
Serve:
Drizzle the bang bang sauce over the skewers or serve on the side for dipping.
