Blackberry Champagne Mule Recipe: A Sparkling Twist on a Classic Cocktail

1/2 cup fresh blackberries (plus more for garnish)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 oz vodka
1/2 oz simple syrup (or to taste)
3 oz ginger beer
2 oz champagne or sparkling wine
Ice
Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)


Instructions

  • Muddle the Blackberries: In a cocktail shaker, muddle the blackberries and lime juice together to release the juice and flavor.

  • Mix the Drink: Add vodka and simple syrup to the shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 10–15 seconds.

  • Pour and Top: Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Top with ginger beer and gently stir.

  • Add Champagne: Slowly pour in the champagne or sparkling wine, allowing it to float on top of the drink for some extra bubbles.

 

  • Garnish and Serve: Garnish with extra blackberries and a sprig of mint if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
