Cheese Wraps with Chicken and Garlic: A Flavorful and Cheesy Meal

  • 2 large chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)

  • 4 large cheese wraps (cheddar, mozzarella, or provolone)

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional, for extra cheesiness)

  • 2 tbsp sour cream or cream cheese (for creaminess)

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:

    • In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

    • Add shredded chicken, salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

    • Mix in sour cream or cream cheese for extra creaminess. Remove from heat.

  2. Prepare the Cheese Wraps:

    • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.

    • Place a cheese wrap in the pan and let it melt slightly (about 30 seconds) until flexible but not fully melted.

  3. Assemble the Wraps:

    • Spoon some of the chicken mixture onto one side of the cheese wrap.

    • Sprinkle a little shredded mozzarella on top if desired.

    • Fold the cheese wrap over the filling and press gently.

  4. Crisp the Wraps:

    • Cook for another minute until the cheese firms up and gets golden brown.

    • Flip carefully and cook for another 30 seconds on the other side.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with a side of sour cream or a dipping sauce.
