Cheeseburger Bombs Recipe: The Ultimate Handheld Snack Explosion

1 lb ground beef
1/2 small onion, finely diced
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
1 tablespoon melted butter
Pickles, for serving (optional)
Dipping sauce: ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Cook the Beef Mixture:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.

    • Drain excess grease.

    • Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper.

    • Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Mix in shredded cheddar.

  • Assemble the Bombs:

    • Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a 4-inch circle.

    • Spoon about 2 tablespoons of beef mixture into the center.

    • Fold up edges and pinch to seal, forming a ball.

    • Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.

  • Top and Bake:

    • Brush each dough ball with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

 

  • Serve:

    • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces and optional pickles on the side.
