Cheesy Chicken Rotini Skillet Recipe

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed

  • 3 cups rotini pasta, cooked & drained

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Sauté onion and garlic until softened and fragrant.

  • Stir in marinara sauce, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  • Add cooked chicken and rotini pasta; toss until coated in sauce.

  • Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top. Cover skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted.

  • Garnish with parsley.

 

  • Serve hot and enjoy this one-pan cheesy comfort dish!
