Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe – Buttery, Crispy & Irresistibly Cheesy

For the Garlic Butter:

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

For the Bread:

1 loaf French bread or Italian bread, sliced in half lengthwise

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)


Instructions

Prepare the Garlic Butter:

 

In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.

Assemble the Bread:

2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

3. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

4. Spread the garlic butter evenly over both halves of the bread.

5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.

6. Add red pepper flakes if you want a little spice.

 

Bake the Garlic Bread:

7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

8. For a golden, crispy top, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.

 

Serve:

9. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
