  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

  2. Cook the Chicken:

    • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

    • Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes. If using, stir in heavy cream for a richer sauce.

  4. Melt the Cheese:

    • Return the chicken to the skillet.

    • Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken breasts.

    • Cover the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
