Cheesy Stuffed Meatloaf Bites Recipe: Delicious & Easy Comfort Food

  • 1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg

  • ¼ cup milk

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup ketchup (for topping)

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional, for a sweeter glaze)

  • 1 tsp mustard (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:

    • Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with parchment cups.

  • Prepare Meat Mixture:

    • In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until combined.

  • Form the Bites:

    • Take small portions of the mixture, flatten slightly, and place a pinch of cheese in the center.

    • Wrap the meat around the cheese, forming small balls or mini meatloaf shapes.

  • Bake:

    • Place the stuffed meatloaf bites in the muffin tin.

    • Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard, then spread a small amount over each bite.

    • Bake for 18-22 minutes until cooked through (internal temp 160°F/71°C).

 

  • Serve:

    • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, veggies, or as an appetizer!
