Ingredients
For the Chicken:
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
For the Buttered Noodles:
12 ounces egg noodles
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh for garnish)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
Cook the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove from skillet, let rest for a few minutes, then slice.
Prepare the Noodles: Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and return to the pot.
Make the Butter Sauce: In the same pot, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in salt, black pepper, and parsley. Toss in cooked noodles and mix until evenly coated.
Serve: Plate buttered noodles and top with sliced chicken. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
