For the Chocolate Cake:
1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
Ingredients required for cake mix (usually water, eggs, and oil)
For the Peanut Butter Layer:
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Banana Cream Layer:
2 ripe bananas, sliced
1 (5 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups cold milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Topping:
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, for garnish)
1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional, for garnish)

Prepare the Chocolate Cake:
Bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions. Let the cake cool completely, then cut it into cubes (about 1-inch size). Set aside. -
Make the Peanut Butter Layer:
In a medium bowl, whisk together peanut butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside. -
Make the Banana Cream Layer:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk. Once thickened (about 2 minutes), set it aside. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until combined. -
Assemble the Trifle:
In a large trifle dish or individual cups, start by layering the chocolate cake cubes at the bottom. Then, add a layer of peanut butter mixture followed by banana slices. Top with a layer of the banana cream mixture.Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the banana cream layer on top.

Garnish and Serve:
Garnish the top with chocolate chips and chopped peanuts (if using). Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the layers to set.
