Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites: Healthy & Delicious Snack Recipe

1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseed meal (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt


Instructions

  • Mix Ingredients:

    • In a large bowl, combine oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, chia seeds (if using), and salt.

    • Add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined and sticky.

  • Add Chocolate Chips:

    • Fold in chocolate chips or chopped chocolate.

  • Chill Dough:

    • Refrigerate the mixture for 20–30 minutes to firm up, making it easier to roll.

  • Form Bites:

    • Roll into 1-inch balls using your hands. You should get about 15–18 bites.

 

  • Store and Serve:

    • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
