Scale
  • 3 cups frozen sweet peas (thawed)

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup diced ham (or crispy bacon bits)

  • ¼ cup diced red onion

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp sour cream (optional, for extra creaminess)

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (or dill, for extra flavor)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Peas:

    • Rinse frozen peas under cold water and let them drain completely. Pat dry with a paper towel.

  • Make the Dressing:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream (if using), Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper.

  • Combine & Chill:

    • Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and gently toss to coat evenly.

    • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

  • Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley or dill before serving.

    • Enjoy chilled as a side dish for BBQ, picnics, or holiday gatherings!
