Creamy Boursin Chicken Recipe: A Flavorful and Easy Dinner Idea

  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package (150g) Boursin cheese (Garlic & Herbs flavor)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
  • 1 cup baby spinach (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to deglaze.
  • Add the Boursin cheese and heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer on low for 10-12 minutes, until fully cooked.
  • If using spinach, stir it in during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.

  • Enjoy!
