Creamy Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta Recipe

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced into strips

  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta (uncooked)

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

  • Season chicken with 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic, bell peppers, and onion until softened.

  • Add heavy cream, chicken broth, remaining Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.

  • Stir in Parmesan until sauce is smooth and creamy.

  • Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet, tossing to coat well.

 

  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
