Scale
  • 12 oz penne pasta (or your favorite pasta)

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips

  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning (divided)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or butter)

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  • Season chicken with 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning.

  • In the same skillet, sauté peppers, onion, and garlic until softened.

  • Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan, smoked paprika, cayenne, and remaining Cajun seasoning. Simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Add cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss until coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.

  • Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

  • Serve hot and enjoy the perfect balance of comfort and spice!
