Ingredients
For the Chicken:

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced into thin strips)

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt & pepper to taste
For the Pasta & Sauce:

12 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or linguine work best)

2 tablespoons butter
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1/2 cup chicken broth
-
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (more to taste)

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Salt & pepper to taste

Chopped parsley or green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Cook pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
Step 2: Cook the Cajun Chicken

Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear chicken until golden and cooked through (about 4–5 minutes per side). Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
Step 3: Make the Creamy Cajun Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds.

Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Add Parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, and red pepper flakes.

Stir until smooth and slightly thickened. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Step 4: Combine

Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss well to coat.

Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.

Simmer for 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through and creamy.
Step 5: Serve

Plate and garnish with chopped parsley, green onions, and extra Parmesan.
