Creamy Cheese Tortellini Recipe – Delicious and Easy Comfort Food

  • 250 g cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 cup heavy cream (30%)

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • ½ cup spinach (chopped, optional)

  • ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped, optional)


Instructions

  • Cook the Tortellini:

    • Boil tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • Prepare the Creamy Sauce:

    • In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

    • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

    • Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Let the sauce thicken for 2-3 minutes.

 

  • Combine & Serve:

    • Add cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat.

    • Stir in spinach and sun-dried tomatoes (if using) and cook for 1 more minute.

    • Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan.
