Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta: Restaurant-Quality Comfort at Home

  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

  • – 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • – 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • – Salt & black pepper to taste

  • – 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • – 3–4 cloves garlic, minced

  • – 2 cups heavy cream

  • – 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • – 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • – 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or your choice)

  • – 1 tablespoon butter

  • – 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • – Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • – Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)

Instructions

  • Cook Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  • Cook Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until golden and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes). Remove and set aside.

  • Make Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and stir, scraping up any browned bits.

  • Creamy Goodness:
Reduce heat to low. Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, letting the sauce thicken slightly.

  • Combine Everything:
Add cooked pasta and chicken into the skillet. Toss well to coat everything in the creamy sauce. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes so it all soaks in.

  • Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot and enjoy! 💛
