Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tortellini with Seared Chicken and Fresh Broccoli

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced thin

  • 2 cups cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  • Blanch broccoli in boiling water for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear until golden brown and fully cooked, about 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and slice.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well. Add Parmesan and Italian seasoning. Simmer until thickened.

  • Add cooked tortellini, broccoli, and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss until everything is well coated and creamy.

  • Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
