Ingredients
For the Mashed Potatoes:

2 lbs potatoes, peeled & cubed

4 tbsp butter

1/2 cup milk (warm)

1/4 cup sour cream (optional)

Salt & pepper, to taste
For the Creamy Garlic Shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined

2 tbsp butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup chicken broth
-
1/2 cup heavy cream
-
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 tsp paprika
-
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt & pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Keep warm.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add shrimp, season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.

In the same pan, pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and simmer until sauce thickens slightly. Add Parmesan and mix well.

Return shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in creamy garlic sauce.

Serve shrimp and sauce generously over mashed potatoes.

Garnish with parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan.
