Ingredients
For the Pasta:

8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt (for boiling water)
For the Shrimp:

1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)

1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp paprika

1 tbsp butter
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
-
2 tbsp butter
-
4 cloves garlic (minced)
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
-
1 tsp Italian seasoning
-
½ cup pasta water (reserved)
-
Salt and pepper (to taste)

2 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook the Pasta:

Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water. Toss with olive oil and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp:
-
Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and cook shrimp for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the pan.

Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Stir well.

Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

Combine Everything:

Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce, tossing to coat.

If needed, add reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.

Serve:

Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm.
