Crispy Air Fryer Chicken & Mozzarella Wraps

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)

  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 4 large flour tortillas or wraps

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce

  • Olive oil spray or cooking spray


Instructions

  • Marinate Chicken:
    In a bowl, combine chicken strips with garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and buttermilk. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge).

  • Preheat Air Fryer:
    Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.

  • Bread Chicken:
    In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan. Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.

  • Air Fry Chicken:
    Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
    Place chicken strips in the basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Spray tops with oil.
    Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  • Assemble Wraps:
    On each tortilla, spread a spoonful of marinara sauce.
    Add crispy chicken strips and a generous sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
    Roll tightly into a wrap and press seam-side down.

  • Crisp the Wraps (Optional):
    For extra crunch, place wrapped tortillas back in the air fryer for 3–5 minutes until lightly browned and cheese is melty.

 

  • Serve:
    Slice in half and serve with extra marinara or ranch for dipping.
