2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch pieces)

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken:
Place chicken pieces in a bowl with buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight). -
Prepare the Coating:
In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. -
Coat the Chicken:
Remove chicken from the buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to coat. -
Air Fry the Nuggets:
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with olive oil.
Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.

Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with ketchup, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
