Ingredients
1 jar dill pickle spears or slices, drained and patted dry
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a little heat)
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cooking spray (for air frying)
Instructions
-
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
-
In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.
-
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
-
In another shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
-
Dip each pickle spear or slice first into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat evenly.
-
Arrange the coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded. Lightly spray them with cooking spray.
-
Air fry for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
-
Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce.
