Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup Ritz crackers, crushed
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
Prepare the Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
Coat the Chicken:
In one bowl, place the beaten eggs.
In a second bowl, mix the crushed crackers, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Dip each chicken breast into the eggs, then coat evenly in the cheese-cracker mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Arrange in Baking Dish:
Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over the top for extra crispiness.
Bake:
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).
Serve:
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.
