2 large chicken breasts (sliced in half lengthwise for 4 pieces)

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt

1 egg (beaten)

4 sandwich buns (toasted)

1 cup romaine lettuce, shredded

1/2 cup Caesar dressing
-
Extra Parmesan shavings (optional)
Instructions

Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).

In a shallow dish, mix flour, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Dip chicken in beaten egg, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.

Heat oil in a skillet and fry chicken until golden brown and crispy, about 4–5 minutes per side. (Or bake at 400°F / 200°C for 20–25 minutes until crispy.)

Spread Caesar dressing on buns, then layer with lettuce, crispy chicken, and extra Parmesan shavings.

Top with the other half of the bun and serve warm.
