Ingredients
For the Shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp garlic powder

½ cup cornstarch

2 large eggs (beaten)

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Honey Glaze:

¼ cup honey
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp rice vinegar
-
1 tsp sesame oil
-
2 garlic cloves (minced)

½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
For Garnish:

1 tbsp sesame seeds

2 green onions (sliced)
Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp:

Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Dredge shrimp in cornstarch, then dip into beaten eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Fry the Shrimp:

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.

Fry shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Make the Honey Glaze:

In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes.

Bring to a simmer, then stir in the cornstarch slurry. Cook until thickened.

Toss crispy shrimp in the honey glaze until well coated.
