1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon milk

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

Cooking spray or olive oil spray
Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly spray with cooking oil.
Prepare Coating Stations:
Place flour in one shallow bowl. In a second bowl, beat eggs with milk. In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Coat Asparagus:
Dredge each asparagus spear in flour, then dip into egg mixture, then coat in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mix. Press lightly to help coating stick.
Arrange and Bake:
Place coated asparagus on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray tops with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
Bake:
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Serve warm with ranch, marinara, or your favorite dipping sauce!
