Ingredients
For the Salmon Bites:
1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
½ cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crispiness)
For the Dipping Sauce (Optional):
¼ cup Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon honey
½ teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Salmon Bites:
Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel and place in a bowl.
Drizzle olive oil over the salmon cubes and toss to coat evenly.
In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne (if using).
Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the salmon and gently toss to coat.
Lightly press panko breadcrumbs onto each salmon piece for extra crunch.
Cook the Salmon:
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap.
Air fry for 7-9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the salmon is crispy and cooked through (internal temp: 145°F/63°C).
Make the Dipping Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt (or mayo), lemon juice, garlic powder, honey, and hot sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve and Enjoy!
Serve hot with the dipping sauce and a side of lemon wedges. Perfect for a snack, appetizer, or light meal!
