Crispy Zucchini Chips: A Delicious and Healthy Snack

Ingredients

  • 🥒 2 medium zucchinis (thinly sliced, about 1/8-inch thick)

  • 🧂 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 🍳 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 🧀 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)

  • 🍞 1/3 cup breadcrumbs or panko (optional, for extra crispiness)

  • 🧄 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 🌿 Optional: dried herbs like thyme, oregano, or Italian seasoning


Instructions

  • Prep zucchini: Slice zucchini into thin rounds. Lay them on paper towels and sprinkle lightly with salt. Let sit for 10–15 minutes to draw out moisture, then pat dry.

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C), or preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  • Toss with flavor: In a bowl, toss zucchini slices with olive oil, garlic powder, and optional herbs. Add Parmesan and breadcrumbs if using.

  • Arrange slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet or air fryer basket.

  • Bake for 20–25 minutes (or air-fry for 10–15 minutes), flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

 

  • Cool briefly and enjoy while crispy!
