1 lb large prawns, peeled and deveined

6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

¼ cup olive oil

1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Prepare the Prawns:

Rinse and pat dry the prawns with paper towels. Set aside.

Cook the Garlic:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the sliced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fragrant and golden (but not burnt).

Add the Prawns:

Add the prawns to the skillet, spreading them in a single layer.

Sprinkle with red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until the prawns turn pink and opaque.

Add lemon juice to the pan and stir to combine.

Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
