Ingredients
For the crust:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the filling:
1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs
1/4 cup lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt for the crust. Stir in melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of the pan.

Bake crust for 15 minutes, then remove from oven.

In a separate bowl, whisk together strawberry puree, sugar, flour, baking powder, eggs, lemon juice, and zest until smooth.

Pour filling over warm crust and return to oven.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until set and slightly golden at the edges.

Cool completely, then chill before dusting with powdered sugar and slicing.
