Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large chicken breasts (or 4 small ones)
- 1 cup dill pickle juice
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter for cooking
Instructions
- Place the chicken in a bowl or ziplock bag and pour the pickle juice over it. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or up to 12 hours for extra flavor).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels. Discard the marinade.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Season the chicken on both sides.
- Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve with your favorite sides like roasted potatoes, coleslaw, or a fresh salad. Enjoy!
