1 loaf of French bread or brioche, cut into 1-inch cubes

Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare Bread:
Place cubed bread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Mix Custard:
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
Assemble Casserole:
Pour custard mixture over bread cubes, pressing down gently to soak bread. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Make Topping:
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, and cold butter pieces using a pastry cutter or fork until crumbly.
Bake:
Remove casserole from fridge. Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over the soaked bread. Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes or until golden and set.
Serve:
Let cool slightly, then serve warm with maple syrup and fresh berries.
