Easy Garlic Butter Beef Cheeseburger Roll Ups

  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

Scale

For the cheeseburger filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 small onion, finely diced

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1/4 cup ketchup

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

For the roll-ups:

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or pizza dough)

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

  • Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cook the beef mixture:
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion. Drain excess grease.
Stir in garlic powder, paprika, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire. Cook for another 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Stir in shredded cheddar.

  3. Prepare the dough:
Roll out the crescent dough on a lightly floured surface. Pinch seams together if using crescent rolls. Cut into rectangles (about 6–8 depending on size).

  4. Fill and roll:
Spoon 2–3 tablespoons of the cheeseburger mixture onto each piece of dough. Roll up tightly like a burrito, tucking in sides if needed. Place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.

  5. Garlic butter topping:
Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush over each roll-up. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

  7. Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for dipping!
