1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chocolate chips
For the Glaze:

Prepare the Batter:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake the Bread:
6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
7. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Prepare the Glaze:
9. In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust consistency by adding more milk if needed.
10. Drizzle glaze over the cooled bread before slicing.
