Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

Sesame seeds & green onions, for garnish
Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, olive oil, and pepper.

Place chicken in a large skillet over medium heat and sear each side until lightly golden.

Pour the sauce over the chicken, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water, stir into the sauce, and cook for 2–3 more minutes until thickened.

Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

Serve hot with rice or steamed vegetables.
