Instructions
1. Prepare the Chicken Patties:
In a bowl, mix ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Divide into 4 equal balls.
2. Heat the Pan:
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and add oil or butter.
3. Smash and Cook the Patties:
Place one chicken ball in the hot skillet and press down firmly with a spatula to flatten into a thin patty. Cook for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Add Cheese:
Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to let it melt.
5. Toast the Buns:
Lightly toast burger buns in the same skillet or in a toaster.
6. Assemble the Burgers:
Spread mayo or desired sauce on the buns. Add lettuce, tomato, chicken patty with melted cheese, bacon slice, and top with pickles if desired.
7. Serve:
Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately with fries or a fresh salad!
