3–4 ripe tomatoes, sliced

8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

2–3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

1–2 tbsp balsamic glaze or reduction (optional)

Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions

On a large plate or platter, alternate slices of tomato and mozzarella in a circular or layered pattern.

Tuck fresh basil leaves between the tomato and mozzarella slices.

Drizzle evenly with olive oil and balsamic glaze (if using).

Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

Serve immediately as a refreshing appetizer or side dish!
