Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles: A Quick & Flavorful Dinner Recipe

For the Steak:

  • 300 g steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank, thinly sliced)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Noodles:

  • 250 g noodles (ramen, udon, or rice noodles)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tsp honey

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

  • 2 green onions (chopped, for garnish)

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Marinate the Steak:

    • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Toss in the sliced steak and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

  • Cook the Steak:

    • Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat. Add the steak and sear for 1-2 minutes per side until caramelized. Remove and set aside.

  • Prepare the Noodles:

    • Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:

    • In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

    • Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes. Let it simmer for 1 minute.

 

  • Combine & Serve:

    • Toss the cooked noodles in the sauce, then add the steak back in. Mix well to coat.

    • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
