Garlic Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts: Crispy, Flavorful, and Easy to Make

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts (halved)

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional, for serving)


Instructions

  • Prepare the Oven & Pan:

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Season the Brussels Sprouts:

    • In a large bowl, toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

  • Roast the Brussels Sprouts:

    • Spread them out evenly on the baking sheet, cut side down.

    • Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

 

  • Add Parmesan & Serve:

    • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan during the last 5 minutes of roasting.

    • Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired and serve warm.
