Greek Hot Honey Alfredo: A Bold Fusion of Mediterranean Flavors

  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup hot honey (plus more for drizzling)

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)

  • Lemon zest (optional, for brightness)

Instructions

Cook Pasta:
Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

Make Sauce Base:
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown garlic).

Add Cream and Cheese:
Lower heat to medium-low. Stir in heavy cream, feta, and Parmesan. Stir continuously until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.

Add Hot Honey:
Mix in hot honey and oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add a splash of pasta water if sauce is too thick.

Combine Pasta:
Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat well. Simmer for 1–2 minutes, allowing flavors to blend.

Serve:
Plate pasta and drizzle with extra hot honey. Top with fresh herbs and lemon zest if using.
