  • Author: Hannah

Ingredients

Scale

For the Meatballs:

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 egg

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cucumber, grated & squeezed dry

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, oregano, cumin, egg, salt & pepper. Mix until just combined.

  • Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. (Alternatively, bake at 400°F / 200°C for 18–20 minutes.)

  • For tzatziki, stir together Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, dill, salt & pepper until creamy. Chill until ready to serve.

  • Serve meatballs warm with tzatziki on the side.

  • Pair with pita bread, rice, or a Greek salad for a full meal.
