Ingredients
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup sliced almonds
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges, for garnish (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add sliced almonds to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown and fragrant.

Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for another 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Add the cooked green beans to the skillet and toss to coat with the almond and garlic mixture.

Drizzle with lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh parsley if desired.
