Homemade Mounds Bars: A Delicious, Easy-to-Make Treat

2 cups shredded coconut (sweetened)

½ cup sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tbsp coconut oil (or butter)


Instructions

In a bowl, mix shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Scoop out small portions and shape them into rectangular bars. Place on a lined baking sheet.

Freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.

Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Dip each coconut bar into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Let excess chocolate drip off.

Place back on the lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 15 minutes until set.

Enjoy or store in an airtight container in the fridge!
