Ingredients
6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
¼ cup honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Spoon the sauce over the chicken before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or sesame seeds if desired.
